Hello, It's Me Family, I am grateful for the opportunity to grow, learn, and connect with each of you. I am an African American woman who proudly identifies as female, and I lead with my heart in everything I do. The phrase “I am” holds deep meaning for me; it shapes how I move through the world, speak my truth, and nourish my spirit with intention. Born in Eden, North Carolina, I carry the soul of the South with me. Hospitality, warmth, and authentic relationships are at the core of who I am. I’ve been married for 35 years, and I am the proud mother of three amazing adult children. I am also a grandmother to one wise little fur baby who comforts me in quiet moments and walks beside me through it all. I find joy in life’s simple wonders: gardening with my hands in the earth, dancing freely, traveling with curiosity, catching live theater performances, and embracing spiritual practices that ground and inspire me.
